About the Author

Jeff Hogan is a retired U.S. Air Force officer, defense-industry executive, and author with more than three decades of experience leading and mentoring professionals in complex, high-consequence environments. He holds a PhD in education and has spent his career designing training systems, advising senior leaders, and helping organizations prepare people for responsibility, accountability, and long-term performance.

As the father of three Generation Z sons, Jeff has had a front-row seat to the pressures young men face today—constant digital exposure, shifting cultural expectations, and an absence of clear guidance on what it means to live a grounded, purposeful life. That perspective led him to write The Next Greatest Generation, a direct and thoughtful conversation aimed at helping young men navigate adulthood with resilience, discipline, and self-direction.

Jeff’s writing draws on both professional experience and fatherhood, blending practical insight with hard-earned lessons about work ethic, failure, personal responsibility, and leadership. His approach avoids ideology and nostalgia, focusing instead on principles that endure across generations.

The Next Greatest Generation serves as the foundation for a broader effort that includes speaking engagements and a forthcoming podcast dedicated to bridging generational divides and equipping young men to build meaningful, independent lives.
